Imprinting
For years, we were exclusively a Custom Embroidery Company. However, in 2004 we expanding our services to include imprinting. What is imprinting?
The Imprinting process is much like screenprinting except THE INK is applied with heat. We start with a screen printed transfer sheet. Your design is custom created and set up by a professional screen printing company and printed with the ink of your choice on the individual sheets and then shipped back to us. We then heat press that design onto your garment. The heat seal process actually works with the 50/50 fabric in a way that melts the ink into the fabric so the design never peels, fades or cracks. That is why we suggest going with a 50/50 fabric over a 100%. The ink just holds up better on the 50/50. Many screenprinting companies are going with this method because it produces a finer product and the ink fumes are reduced, which is safer for owners and employees.
As with any ink process, the more colors you have in your logo, the more expensive your shirt becomes. Remember again, simple is best. We can imprint on any color too! Also one location is cheaper than 2 or 3. So if you wanted a 1 color design on the front of a Tee, that would be much cheaper than a 1 color that had a design on the back, left chest and shoulder.
Set up for Imprinting requires a clean graphic, 300dpi and vector art is best for this. Set ups are $35.
Best pricing for imprinting starts at 25 pieces and we can be very competitive on 100 or more. Turnaround time is a bit longer on imprinting because we do 1 piece at a time, verses multi pieces like we do with embroidery. Usually 14 days is the turnaround on most imprinted orders.
